Another one of South Africa's Big Cats!

Just look at these beauties! Africa has three of the big cats: Lion, Leopard and Cheetah. Tigers originated from Asia and Siberia and are found in that part of the world.Smaller African wild cats include: Caracal, Serval, African Wildcat and others. Sometimes the Leopard is confused with South America's Jaguar.

I love these big cats but from a distance only! I don't want to get too close to something that could make a dinner out of me if they wanted to. I will just sit and play with my little Rawja.
Hope you are doing OK! Are you catching up on your studies? How long is this course anyway? You must be moving at a pretty fast pace if your tests cover 4 chapters at a time. Just remember that pretty soon this will be old hat to you. It just comes with practice and experience. I imagine it would be like learning a foreign language. You just have to keep at it. I was thinking about college and learning after we chatted a while back. I do think in some respects it's easier when we are younger because we come with such fresh unincumbered minds. We have so little to worry about when we are young. As we get older our lives become more complicated and it makes it harder to concentrate. Or to even find time for our studies. But youth has nothing over women our age and that is why I don't have any doubt that if you set your mind to this you can do anything you desire. So put your nose to the grindstone kiddo and I will be expecting an invitation to your graduation.
Talk to you later!
Hugs,
Julie

Julie,
It's such a pleasure when you pop in! Bless you! I appreciate your words of encouragement and support, girlfriend! To clarify: the subject I'm doing, which is Computers, (apart from speed classes) is the last subject required for the core curriculum for The Associate in Applied Science: Court Reporting Degree.
I will be able to earn my Certificate in Information Reporting by May (provided I meet some of my speed requirements). I will become a Certified Shorthand Reporter only when I take the certification exam in Austin when I am able to write at over 225 wpm with 97% accuracy. No-one knows how long it will take an individual to get to that point because it requires the mastering of a mechanical skill! An in-house joke amongst court reporting students is "Don't ask how long it's gonna take!" The quicker the better, that's for sure, but it seems to come on its own!
It's so wonderful to have friends like you who are interested and supportive. There are daily frustrations with this course and your friendship is incredibly valuable to me! Believe me, my nose knows the grindstone very well! LOL! Gosh, wouldn't it be fantastic if I could have a huge celebration with all my friends the day I actually certify as a CSR??? (from your lips to God's ears!) I don't know whether you saw my blog when I posted about Steno, so I will put the info up again soon.
Please tickle Rawja for me! I hope you have a superb week and look forward to your next visit! Hugs and love to you!
